Hands On Lawn Care Service Privacy Policy

Hands On Lawn Care Service, Inc. ("HOLCS," "we," "us") respects the privacy of people who request an estimate or use our services. This policy explains how we handle information you provide to us in connection with lawn care and property maintenance. It also applies to a HOLCS website or online form that displays or links to this policy. A third-party website or payment page may have its own privacy policy.



Information we receive



We receive information you provide when you contact us, request a quote, accept service, or pay an invoice. This may include your name, contact details, billing and service addresses, property information and access instructions, service requests, messages, estimates, invoices, and payment status. We may create service notes and photographs of property conditions or completed work. Our service providers may receive technical information such as an IP address and device or browser details when you use their online pages.



When you pay electronically, our payment provider receives the payment details needed to process the transaction. HOLCS may see limited information such as the card brand and last four digits, a payment token, and transaction records. We do not ask customers to send a full card number by ordinary email or text. A payment method kept on file does not by itself authorize a charge; any charge is governed by the customer's separate payment authorization and accepted service agreement.



How we use information



We use this information to respond to inquiries, prepare estimates, schedule and perform work, communicate about services, create and send invoices, process authorized payments, keep business and tax records, address complaints or payment disputes, protect our business and customers, and comply with legal obligations. We may contact you about services you requested or purchased. If we send promotional email, you may ask us to stop by replying or writing to the address below. Opting out of promotions does not stop messages needed for active service, invoices, or account matters.



Providers and disclosures



We use Yardbook for business records, scheduling, estimates, and invoicing, and Stripe for electronic payment processing. Information needed for those functions is shared with those providers. We may share only relevant information with people performing work for HOLCS, and with professional advisers, insurers, or collection or legal service providers when needed to address an account or claim. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or property. If the business is transferred, relevant records may transfer with it subject to applicable law. HOLCS does not sell customer contact information to data brokers or advertisers. We do not publish an identifiable customer's property photos or testimonial for marketing without permission.



Retention and security



We keep records while needed to provide services, manage accounts, resolve disputes, and meet tax or other legal obligations. We then dispose of information when it is no longer needed, subject to the retention and deletion controls available in the systems we use. We take reasonable steps to restrict access to customer information and use established service providers for business records and payments. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.



Your choices



Contact us to request access to or correction or deletion of information we control. We may ask for information to verify your identity and may retain records needed for completed transactions, unpaid balances, taxes, disputes, or other legal obligations. To stop promotional emails, reply to one or email us with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line. To revoke authorization for future card charges, email us; revocation does not cancel an amount owed for work already performed. For information held by Yardbook or Stripe in their own capacity, you may also consult their privacy notices.



Other sites and changes



Links to other sites and services are governed by those parties' policies. Our services are intended for adults arranging property maintenance; we do not knowingly solicit information directly from children. We may update this policy and will show the new effective date when we do. We will provide additional notice or choices when applicable law requires them.
